How to be Productive on a Sunday

In my family Sundays are called Sunday Funday. We always went to church together, had a big breakfast, and relaxed. As we got older they turned into us kids going to church and then sleeping all day and doing homework at the last minute. Now all of us are in different states and cities but we still have Sunday Funday. My older sister, sister-in-law and I skype and I have lengthy conversations with my Mom :)

Today I decided I need to be productive in the morning so I can enjoy the Superbowl tonight! I went to the 8:30am service at my church, which was different music and I prefer my 11am service.

After church I wanted to make a good breakfast to get me through a workout and hold me over till 3:30 when I get to eat super yummy football food. I had coffee, strawberry-banana juice, a banana and breakfast sandwich. The sandwich is a whole-wheat bagel, over-easy egg, and veggie sausage. Needless to say... I enjoyed every bite :)

After breakfast I made meatballs for the party I'm going to. I used VeggiePatch meatless meatballs and mixed 2 cups ketchup with 1 cup brown sugar and poured it over the meatballs. I'll let them cook for 3-4 hours on high and they will be yummy in my tummy!

After the meatballs were made I knew I had to do a hardcore work out to enjoy all the great food I'll be eating later! I did 3 miles on the treadmill and Jillian Michael's Shred It with Weights. It was intense and I needed to stretch out so I did some Yoga. I really enjoy Jillian's workouts because you feel the burn and don't have to leave home!

Now it's 2 pm and I'm showered, dressed, and enjoying My Big Fat Greek Wedding while reading everyone's blogs... Makings of a great Sunday Funday!
