3 Ts: Thanksgiving, Turkey, and Tired!!!

Umm where did my Thanksgiving break go?! I feel like it was just Wednesday! I'm not quite ready to go back to work, school, etc. but only 18 days and I am on Christmas break! I loved this weekend though and cherished every moment. 

 

It was filled with lots of yummy breakfasts

Lots and lots of this delicious drink

And of course the best cheesy Christmas movies :)

These two couldn't hang with us party animals though... out like a light by 8 pm!!

What is your favorite Christmas movie?
- I watch Elf at least 50 times between Thanksgiving and Christmas... but I really enjoy the Lifetime movies as well.

How early do you fall asleep on breaks?
- My average bedtime was 9 pm... Hanging with the parents doesn't lead to a late night ;)

Sickity McSick Sick

It happened to me. Yep I got sick. 

 

I HATE being sick because I only get sick maybe 2-3 times a year but when it happens I get really, really sick. On Monday I was FORCED to stay home on Tuesday. I think I needed it though because I slept like this little guy

 

 

Watched tons of episodes of this show. I'm LOVING Sara  Bareilles as a judge. She is so funny!!! Right now Penatonix is my favorite and I'm very ready for Afro Blue to be OFF!!!

 

I Stumbled a ton... found so many great blogs :)

 

And of course I pinned. According to my Mom it's all I do :)

Thankfully I'm mentally feeling a lot better and ready to celebrate the holiday with my family :)

3 Random Questions... Please Help!!

Well it's Sunday night again, I know this night comes every week but I still dread it every time. I had this big long post about how difficult my past week has been but I decided to save that for a later date, a date where I'm a bit more peppy and feeling like myself. To help ease my mind I've decided to ask all my bloggy friends for help. Please pass this on to someone if you know they can help!

So here are my questions in no important order:

1) I love linking to different blogs when I see/ use their fantastic ideas; How can I tell if someone has linked to my blog?

2) Beginning in January I will start looking for teaching jobs. Right now I'm really looking at North Carolina, South Carolina, or Georgia. Anyone have any other ideas? Do you currently work/live/teach in any of these states and have thoughts?

3) I am absolutely loving my Iphone 4 but I need help finding good, fun, cheap (preferably free) apps!! Give em' to me!

I'm currently looking to move so this is a relevant question! At the end of this year I need to start finding a teaching job. I would love to go down south.

If I had to choose between a house cleaner and a personal chef...

I would have to choose a house cleaner because I like to cook and my vaccume just broke :(... can this person also do my organizing?

If I were to have more children...
I currently don't have children but if I did I would want them to be like these wonderful, funny kiddos.

If money were not an object...
I would want to share some with my family, church, and start a scholarship for students and schools to have technology in the classroom. I would pay off my student loans and put the rest in savings for the future.

If I could have any talent in the world...
I would want to dance like Melanie Moore from SYTYCD. Watch this video and you'll see how amazing she is!

Triple Tuesday Tangent

Happy Tuesday!! I usually don't care for Tuesday because it is my longest day; full of teaching, staff meeting, and work. Not today though!! I didn't have to work tonight! It's the little things that get me through :)

So I'm taking a cue from Janae @ Hungry Runner Girl and doing Triple Tuesday Tangent!!

First, look at how adorable my sister and I were when we were little! I love looking through old pictures.
Notice all the pink, yep my wardrobe is still like that. Including the footie pjs and foam curlers!

I LOVE chocolate but lately have been craving salt. Enter this amazing drink. Seriously so good and easy to make!!



Best thing about not having to work tonight? I get to watch these shows on actual t.v. when they air!!
New girl is just about over which means I have to get ready for the day tomorrow and go to bed... I've become such an old lady!!

-Yes, I love how they make my hair look and they're so easy to do!!

Best hot drink in the fall?
- Usually it's something with pumpkin but since it's getting colder and I'm ready for Christmas I'm switching over to hot chocolate and eggnog coffee.

Do you watch Glee or The New Girl?
- I'm obsessed with The New Girl, I love all the characters and this possible romance with Jess and Nick is Dyn-O-Mite :)

New November

Wow, I can't believe it's November already!! Where on earth does the time go? Between teaching, taking masters classes, working 3+ jobs and still finding time for friends and family; my blog has gone downhill. For that I am sorry I'm not sorry ;)

For November I want to become brand new. Here are my goals:

I will create and document new memories of my family, friends, and students.

I will workout at least 4 days a week and start doing the C25K program again.

I will be organized to a T, and plan everything.

I will track my spending and stop freaking out about my lack of money.

I will blog at least 4 times a week.
