The Nail Files

I can't believe it's Friday already! This week went by super fast for me, which is good, I'll take it!

Last night I needed a break from throwing my stuff out packing and I had a groupon to use so I decided to get a mani and pedi. I like shellac but the last one didn't turn out so well and my hands were really dry and the skin was peeling so I decided to not do shellac this time. As I was talking to the lady doing my pedicure she asked why I didn't want shellac and I explained. She then told me that if I rub cuticle oil (which I have a lot of little bottles of) then that will help.

Pedicure color: Lola by Orly
She also said I can paint a color OVER my french shellac and take it off and it won't ruin my shellac at all! Score! I don't think I'll be doing it because french nails are classic and go with everything but it's good to know for the future! Happy Friday!!

  4. I got a french shellac last fall and LOVED it...but now I get so bored with my manicures so quickly that it doesn't make sense to put so much money toward it :S

  5. Oh wow that's crazy about the shellac... I love putting cuticle oil on anyways since soft cuticles are key to not having dry, breakable nails!
